Pastor Peter was born in Lansing, Michigan. He began following Jesus at age 10, and felt the call to ministry at age 12. He graduated from Olivet University in 1978 with a BS in religion and then from the Nazarene Theological Seminary in 1979. He continued on to receive his Master of Pastoral Counseling from Olivet in 1991.
He has pastored 4 Nazarene churches and worked in Hospice care for many of his 50 years of ministry. Pastor Peter was ordained on the Michigan District Church of the Nazarene in 1973.
Peter came to Churubusco Church of the Nazarene as an Associate Pastor in March 2014. He and his wife Theresa will be married 50 years this May! They have two sons and 5 grandchildren.
Pastor Del is a second generation Nazarene, born and raised in Ossian, Indiana. He received an Associates degree in Social Science at Olivet University. While at Olivet, he met his wife Becky, who he has now been married to for 39 years! Over the years he has worked many different jobs, but has now been a master electrician with Laux/Arnold for the last 32 years.
Del started as the Worship Pastor in Churubusco 26 years ago. He enjoys hunting and fishing and spending time in God's beautiful outdoors to prepare himself for worship on Sunday. He and his wife Becky have 2 daughters, 1 son-in-law and 2 grandchildren.
The thing Pastor Del likes about Churubusco the most is the small town atmosphere and how we all come together in times of need. He experienced this first hand when they experienced a house fire years ago and members of the community, some he did not even know, rallied around his family to help them through such a difficult time.
Pastor Eddie was born in Zionsville, Indiana. He was ordained in 1998. He has done many things in the church over the years, including serving in the teen ministry. He married his wife Diane 53 years ago. They have 2 children.
In his free time, he enjoys gardening and working in the yard. He also enjoys traveling to his children's homes and helping them with household projects.
Eddie enjoys working with and for the people of the Churubusco Church of the Nazarene. He has always felt supported in his ministry by the people of our community.
